Boomarang is a Rock band from Aizawl (Mizoram), formed in 2005. The band started out performing covers before moving on to original material. The band of four has a blend of blues and hip hop spiced up with a lot of nu-age metal leanings in their sounds which they liked to brand as ‘junk rock’.

1.His Excellency Shri Ranjit Rae, Ambassador of India to Vietnam releasing debut album entitled as “Boomarang” at the American Club, following performance by the band at Hai Ba Trung Street, Hanoi, Vietnam, 2012
2.His Excellency Shri Sridharan, Ambassador of India to Taiwan releasing second album entitled as “Home” under Universal Music Label, following performance by the band at the iconic Riverside Live House Venue, Taipei, Taiwan (ITA) Indian Taipei Association 2015
3.First band from the State of Mizoram to have radio AIR time at four continent's
